About HTA

The HTA Executive Board meets monthly to oversee and conduct the business of the association. Members of the Executive Committee are expected to attend all regular and special meetings of the Board of Directors (Comprised of building representatives and Executive Board members); to participate in the business of the Association; to conduct themselves in the best interests of the Association; and to carry out the policies adopted by the Board of Directors. Meet your Executive Board: Executive Board

Building Representatives are voting members of the Board of Directors. Each work site is entitled to one (1) building representative per fifteen (15) eligible bargaining unit members. Attend our monthly meetings the first Tuesday of every month, represent members at Weingarten meetings, and host 10 minute, school-wide meetings. Must attend at least one Fall Introduction to Representative Responsibilities training. Find out who your Building Representative is!

Building Action Team (BAT): BAT members are 10:1 communicators with ten assigned people in their buildings to share important information about HTA priority campaigns. BATs share critical updates during bargaining, particularly all member engagement and participation in bargaining.
